Lepiota is a comic book about a proud parasol mushroom that takes Max, a stubborn young girl, on an adventure to teach her about kingdom fungi. Together, they travel through time to see the impact fungi have had on life on Earth. Although their journey doesn’t go as planned, Max begins to develop a greater appreciation for the fungal world. With this story, I hope to also encourage readers to view nature in a different light.
